Abe's Bagels
PURE KIWI GENIUS
When Abe’s Bagels teamed up with Marmite to create a new range of co-branded Abe’s Marmite Bagel Crisps, it was our job to amplify it in the market. In our minds, Abe’s Marmite Bagel Crisps were a world-first product unique to New Zealand, hence why we created the ‘More Kiwi Genius’ campaign.
Our creative drew on an eclectic group of famous Kiwi geniuses, who through a socially driven competition mechanic, saw record levels of engagement and audience growth. The campaign helped to position not only the co-branded Marmite product but helped build Abe’s into the most engaged bagel brand in New Zealand.
ZUFFEN
HOW TO GROW AN INTERNATIONAL NICHE ACCOUNT WITH PREDICTABLE REACH
Zuffen is a New Zealand based page focussed on black and white motoring related photography. It was set up by us as a check and test page to assess algorithm changes and hashtag strategies.
Starting with zero followers and zero paid media, recent results from organic posts have been significant. For example a single post in April netted these results:
Impressions 260,527 | Reach 257,828 | Likes 14,496 | Saved 695 | Reshared 357 | Comments 93
As with all social activity results vary, but this site demonstrates that by understanding the dynamic nature of the specific social ecosystem and careful management, outstanding results can be achieved.
YWCA
UNDERSTANDING AND EXPRESSING THE SOUL OF AN ICONIC INSTITUTION
Following an extensive rebrand we were tasked with creating core social assets for the new brand that could be used by the inhouse YWCA team who manage their social platforms on an ongoing basis.
Through dual graphic elements; a colour palette representative of both women and girls; contrasting typography; and intersecting imagery and content, we built a social identity that is not only flexible but also represents the impact the YWCA makes on the girls and women of New Zealand.
NEFF
INTRODUCING A LEGENDARY EUROPEAN BRAND THAT SPEAKS FLUENT KIWI
The NEFF brand philosophy is ‘cooking inspires people, people inspire us’, so our goal when launching the brand into New Zealand was to demonstrate to consumers how this philosophy fitted perfectly with the “Kiwi” lifestyle.
Our creative strategy focussed on socially driven cooking scenes featuring delectable food and strategically placed products.
These compositions were then carefully paired with the brands playful font choices and hand-drawn illustrations to complete the picture.
All of these details strategically “collide” to create engaging content that helps build a story, which is deliciously NEFF.
SKOPIK
COMMUNICATING A COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY BUSINESS
Skopik came to us as a newly branded business. Our first priority was to take design-first approach to Skopik’s social feeds, maximising and creating visual appeal around its products and leveraging the diversity of its services to their advantage. We used careful curation and creative assets to appeal to their visually-led audiences of designers, architects and specifiers. We implemented a paid digital strategy to push brand awareness and grow a highly relevant following.
We also designed content to build the Skopik audience’s understanding of its more niche software driven services, strengthening what once were disparate areas of the business into one core brand message. This was communicated with organic content that focussed on the people within the business that supported Skopik’s brand promise which is “We make buildings work, by transforming bricks and mortar into living spaces”. Our launch saw Skopik gain fast traction in a competitive sector.
Pass The Parcel
SIMPLICITY IS KEY
Courier service Pass The Parcel identified three friction points that were causing difficulties for them and their consumers – and no-one likes difficult, but, everyone loves simple and easy!
So we created a campaign that addressed these pain points and demonstrated how Pass The Parcel could make their courier experience a lot simpler – Pass The Parcel, the definition of ‘Sending Made Simple’.
What was primarily an informational campaign drove record numbers in engagement and was instrumental in building the Pass The Parcel brand to becoming the number one choice for online shoppers in New Zealand.
